On January 27th, at the Annual Meeting of the Masters of Foxhunting Association at the Union Club in NYC, Keswick Hunt Club received the 2023 MFHA Hunting Habitat Conservation Award.
This recognition for our hunt club’s successful involvement in preserving open space comes with a beautiful china platter that is proudly displayed in our club house trophy case and a $5000 check.
The fact that Keswick’s junior Mia Valdez took the lead on applying for – and winning – this prestigious award was the talk of the hunt ball at the Pierre Hotel that evening.
Mia and Keswick MFH Murdoch Matheson gave a informative presentation about KHC’s commitment to land conservation. Ex-MFH Mary Kalergis was Mia’s escort for the New York trip, and a good time was had by all.
